If you somehow missed it, Trump's top national security and defense officials

hopped on a commercial messaging app called Signal to debate bombing the Houthis in Yemen.

Except National Security Advisor Mike Walts inadvertently included the editor-in-chief of the Atlantic.

And being a good journalist, he wrote up the whole thing.

Now, Welts's job may be in jeopardy. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is deflecting and denying.

And Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe will testify

today before the Senate Intelligence Committee,

a hearing that was already on the books, and the timing of which they surely lament.

And I saw this headline and like my jaw hit the floor and I have not picked it up.

Yeah. I mean, a colleague sent it to me minutes I think after this piece came out. And it took me so

long to work through the piece because I just kept having to stop

after like every second paragraph and, like, text somebody for comment or just for insights

or just, there was so much in there. I'm still, I think I have to go and give it like a fourth

read this evening to fully absorb everything. Seriously, I mean, ironically, it was like in every group chat I'm in.
