Hi, friends. I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. So here is how it works. I'll read three chapters to you. Luke 16.

Now he said to his disciples, there was a rich man who received an accusation that his manager

was squandering his possessions.

So he called the manager in and asked, what is this I hear about you?

Give an account of your management because you can no longer be my manager.

Then the manager said to himself, what will I do since my master is taking the management away

for me? I'm not strong enough to dig. I'm ashamed to beg. I know what I'll do so that when I'm

removed from management, people will welcome me into their homes. So he summoned each of his master's

debtors. How much do you owe my master?
