The federal government is closed because of the weather.

The Capitol Weather Gang is reporting that a powerful storm is coming today and Saturday

and is shaping up to be the most destructive noreaster of the season and shaping up to be the most destructive

nor-easter of the season.

And it could be the most destructive in decades for some along the coast.

Here's crossing my fingers that it's an easy trip from New York to D.C. this morning.

You all have probably been wondering, who is actually funding the House

GOP Super PAC, the Congressional Leadership Fund? The fund got $1.9 million from Chevron,

$1 million from Tesoro Corporation, an oil and gas company. Bernie Marcus, the co-founder

of Home Depot, gave it $504,000.

Right now, the race is in single digits, despite it being a solidly Republican district.

morale in the West Wing is at an all-time low. And here's the latest on guns. The NRA is pushing back

publicly after meeting with Trump last night. Its top lobbyist Chris Cox posted on Twitter that the president and vice president support

the Second Amendment, support strong due process, and don't want gun control.
