Summary

Gene and Chris welcome long-time paranormal researcher Rosemary Ellen Guiley, author of "Dream Messages from the Afterlife." So are some dreams the result of contact with the dead? According to the blurb from Rosemary's latest book, "We can have contact with the dead, and the most common and powerful way is in dreams. This book is a ground-breaking validation of dreams that reach into the afterlife for reunions, messages, and previews of what lies beyond earthly life." This discussion surely takes us in a direction that's out of the normal comfort zone for The Paracast.

0:34.0

With Gene and Chris in the Paracast, and this is going to be the episode that you can dream about

0:40.5

because it's not going to be about ufoes it's not going to be about bigfoot it's not going to be

0:45.8

about ancient mysteries we're nazi UFOs we're going to focus more on your dreams or maybe dreams

0:52.7

in the afterlife later on right now now, let's just kind of

0:56.1

look at the fallout to last week's appearance from Dr. Joseph Farrell. Predictably, Chris,

1:02.7

I guess you'd agree with me. The response was all over the place. Some people just love

1:07.6

listening to this guy. I do. One listener suggested, gee, couldn't we have added another

1:14.2

hour or two to this episode? He's so much fun to listen to. But other listeners have problems with his

1:20.9

science, suggesting that maybe his grasp of science leaves a little bit to be desired.

1:28.5

Well, you know, it's really difficult to look at years and years of research

1:35.3

simply based on a, you know, three-hour radio program.

1:40.3

I think anyone who is interested in the topics that we covered with Dr. Farrell would probably best be served by reading his books.

1:50.8

I think it's very difficult to lick the tip of the iceberg of such a massive amount of research that he's done over the years.

1:58.8

And he has a very, very astute mind when it comes to weaving threads of research that he's done over the years. And he has a very, very astute mind when it comes to

2:03.6

weaving threads of research together and coming up with what if scenarios. And, you know,

2:09.2

he's very, as he mentioned several times during the show, Gene, he is very careful to state when

2:16.1

he's speculating as opposed to, you know, presenting information

2:20.8

that may be half baked in some of our listeners' minds as reality and as fact. So having read

2:28.9

most of his books, I have a much better grasp, I think, of the subject matter than the average listener out there would.

2:36.5

And I do urge everyone if they're interested in these topics to visit his research.
