He enjoys applying these skills to ancient Hebrew and Sumerian documents and the UFO phenomenon.

0:31.9	So we're here this week with our co-hosts Tim Switz, talking to someone who's new to the show, Ken Goodsward,
0:42.3	and we learn here that you have an expertise in industrial robotics, software engineering, and data design.
0:53.3	Do you ever get into AI at all?
0:56.0	Not really, I mean, I did a little bit way back,
1:00.0	probably close to 20 years ago by now,
1:03.0	but, you know, things have come a long way since then.
1:07.0	Recently, I've dipped my thumbs into the pie of, you know, the AI art generation and text generation, but I'm not really super into it.
1:19.7	But robotics sounds interesting. We're not talking about like Gort or something, aren't we?
1:26.2	Well, it was more of an industrial, like, sawmill applications.
1:31.2	So they don't look like what you would think of when you hear the word robot, but they
1:37.0	are computers with arms and saw blades, usually, and other appendages doing things that are very dangerous if you get in their
1:47.1	way. So I had a rather short career in that industry, but it was quite interesting.
1:55.0	So how did you get involved in the wacky world of the paranormal, particularly UFOs?
2:01.2	That was mainly due to becoming addicted to the TV series,
2:07.7	ancient aliens, and then starting to kind of, I guess, fact-checked some of the things
2:14.8	they were saying.
2:16.3	And to my surprise, I find that some of those fact checks revealed that these guys weren't
2:25.2	completely crazy.
2:27.7	And there was actually some good indications that maybe this whole ancient alien theory has some merit.
