1:28.0 | Today we get to hear Jesus heal a lot of people and send out his disciples. |
1:32.0 | The translation I'm reading from this month is the new living translation. |
1:40.0 | This is day 11 in chronological order. Jesus heals in response to faith from Mark. |
1:48.0 | Jesus got into the boat again and went back to the other side of the lake where a large crowd gathered around him on the shore. |
1:55.0 | Then a leader of the local synagogue whose name was gyrus arrived when he saw Jesus he fell at his feet pleading fervently with him. |
2:02.0 | My little daughter is dying. He said, please come and lay your hands on her heal her so she can live. |
2:08.0 | Jesus went with him and all the people followed crowding around him. |
2:12.0 | A woman in the crowd had suffered for 12 years with constant bleeding. |
2:16.0 | She had suffered a great deal for many doctors and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. |
2:23.0 | In fact, she had gotten worse. She had heard about Jesus so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. |
2:30.0 | For she thought to herself, if I can just touch his robe, I will be healed. |
2:34.0 | Immediately the bleeding stopped and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. |
