In Wisconsin, a young teenager is charged in the alleged murder of his mother, which is reported to have come after he watched a true crime documentary on an infamous case.

In Indiana, a man was arrested in connection to the death of a five-year-old child.

And in New York, a man was arrested and charged with two counts of murder after a couple

was found brutally slain in their home.

On Tuesday, March 4th at around 10 p.m., police in Caledonia, Wisconsin received a call from a teenager

who stated they'd received it concerning Snapchat and phone call from a friend.

The caller explained that the Snapchat they'd received came from their friend, 15-year-old,

Reed Galinsky, and that the content of the Snapchat showed a woman on the ground

with blood all around her body. The caption of the Snapchat reportedly said, quote, help, I stabbed my mom.

The caller stated that they'd received a phone call from Reid who explained that he'd stabbed his mother

after watching the Menindez brothers documentary on

Netflix while he was eating dinner.

And when officers arrived at the scene on the 10,000 block of White Manor Court shortly

after 10.30 p.m., they'd encountered Reed outside of the home.

He was still holding the knife when officers arrived and was ordered to drop it to which he

complied.
