aid deliveries by sea moved ahead at a crawling pace.

A U.S. Army ship full of equipment to build a temporary pier off Gaza's coast for delivering aid is

en route to the Mediterranean. Construction of the pier is expected to take weeks. Another shipful

of aid is still waiting in Cyprus.
