This morning, the House is teeing up the massive COVID relief bill for final approval.

Lawmakers are expected to pass it today and get it to Biden's desk in time to beat the Sunday deadline to renew boosted federal

unemployment benefits. And that means $1,400 survival checks are on the way. That's House Democratic

caucus chair, Hakeem Jeffrey, speaking to reporters yesterday. He also gave us a preview of the refrain

we're probably going to hear over and over again as Dems take

their victory lap on this with an expected zero votes in favor of the package from Republicans.

House Democrats are the party of crushing the coronavirus and providing relief to everyday Americans.

House Republicans are the party of fake outrage as it relates to Dr. Seuss. It's a strange thing.

And it's not just Dems in Congress who will be working overtime to drive that message home.

President Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, and VP Harris are about to embark on a nationwide

blitz to make sure Joe doesn't make the same mistake Barack Obama made more than a decade ago.

Biden wants voters to know who's responsible for the soon-to-arrive checks in the mail and federal

help with their bills. You can expect that sales pitch to look like, well, lots of speeches.

Tomorrow, Biden's expected to deliver his first primetime address as president, which will focus on the

COVID crisis. And later this month, he'll hold his first pressetime address as president, which will focus on the COVID crisis.

And later this month, he'll hold his first press conference as president.

He's also committed to making a still unscheduled address to Congress.

What we won't see on Biden's victory lap, press secretary Jen Saki said yesterday,

is what we saw with Trump, the president's name on your $1,400 checks.

The checks will be signed by a career official at the Bureau of Fiscal Service.
