Summary

Today on the show is the gorgeous Chef Marcela Valladolid. Although you would expect that we would be talking about food, we talked about so much more. Marcela tells us about having to face the reality that the very food she loved and based her career on she could no longer eat due to a health issue. She tells us how she was able to rebuild her heath through diet and most of all through her own spiritual journey. We talk about how having emotional disease in your life manifests disease. Marcella shares her experience of facing her childhood relationships, and really looking at how they effect every relationship she has had. Marcella is an amazing example of how facing our past, our fears, our trauma, our habits, can mean that we are able to learn from our past and build a stronger mind, body and relationships in the future.

0:00.0	If your eyes or brain would try to absorb everything that you see, like literal smoke would come out of your ears.
0:05.4	Like it's too much information, it's like overloading a computer, like you can't absorb everything around you.
0:10.7	And the other thing that happens is we have literal blind spots like a car.
0:14.0	What you actually take in is just the important information. What fills in like everything else and those
0:20.1	blind spots. What fills it in is your experiences, your trauma, you fill in those blanks, right?
0:27.3	That for me was like, oh, so that's what they mean when they say the world is an illusion.
0:33.2	We're literally each of us individually
0:35.8	are filling in those blanks.
0:37.7	So it makes it much easier for me to understand
0:41.6	that the world that you are seeing in front of you is completely different
0:47.1	than the world that I'm seeing in front of me.
0:49.2	And I love that one of the papers, they ask like the research or they're like so what's your
0:54.2	conclusion like what's the purpose of the study and his response was
0:57.9	compassion. I believe that each and every one of us has the power within ourselves to create the life that we really want.
