She's the new, well, she, she did a card deck with us with Alberto Vialdo and Collette Barron Reed.

But this is her first book that we're going to talk about today, Awakening Your Inner Shaman. How you doing, Marcella?

I am very honored to be part of these, these family, hey house and everybody listening is just a wonderful feeling. Thank you.

Yeah, but a lot of people have, have, have used your mystical shaman card deck that the three of you did and it's got a good response. So we decided to work with you to do a book.

And, and I was wondering, like, why did you want to write this book and what is the audience that you're trying to reach with it?

Interesting. I didn't really mean to write a book ever, but it kind of happened as it happens to so many authors.

About 20 years ago, I was being initiated in my shamanic path. And at some point during the depth of it, I was able to lay really a birth, my fears.

So it's interesting. We speak about birding babies and creations. I actually had an experience of birthing my fear. And it was like a heavy ball in my, in my womb.

And the, the lineage, the spiritual lineage that helped me do this is a, is a lineage that refers to themselves as women who free themselves from suffering.

And they actually coach me in this shamanic initiation. I had 20 years ago and encouraged me to step into my light and they say, you are going to write a book one day.

And I say, really, there are so many books about shamanism, about the medicine wheel, the map that I work with. Why should I do it?

And they responded that because my, what I had to offer was not like an intellectual or logical approach to the wisdom, but it was my experience.

And that they will be by my side guiding me in my experience. And eventually we could share with so many others. So it's been it has been an intense, beautiful, sometimes just terrifying and sometimes just glorious right with this lineage and the shamanic path.

And what is your lineage like where, where, where did you learn what you share with us?

All right. So I grew up in the Andes in Chile. And I started having dreams when I was going through my dark night of the soul, like I said, 20, 20, some years ago.

And in my dreams, I was hearing, and not just dreams at night, but visions during the day, I was hearing the drumming of women. And I could see the forest and I could just feel this beat.

And I started asking, who are you? I had moved to the US where I had built my family. And they were calling me back to my country, actually.

So I eventually came back. And these were the matches, the medicine women of southern Chile. And the Lord said that the men abuse their power at some point. So the matches, the medicine women are the ones that keep this connection to the spirit world and bring them the messages.

And I trained with them. And also through the four-win society, I actually trained with the care of people in the Andes of Peru, Alberto Villolo, now my husband was who really brought these teachings to the West.

And he was really able to masticate this wisdom. It took him decades. And he offered them in such a clean, pure and understandable way in a map called the medicine will.

I mean, actually, the medicine will is like a universal map. But the elements that go in each direction are so unique to each tradition. So he was able to really empower the medicine will of the Andes and place some really significant elements in each one of the directions southwest northeast.
