Summary

Toure Show Ep 110 Original air Date: January 29, 2020 Dr. Marc Lamont Hill grew up in Philly playing basketball with Kobe Bryant. Marc played one on one with him hundreds of times. They stayed friends as Kobe became one of the greats and Marc became one of the coolest intellectuals in America and a basketball expert who thinks of himself as Mr. 76ers. He sits front row at every home game. This is a throwback—we had this conversation weeks before Kobe tragically died and you can hear Marc’s respect for his old friend coming through. Some. But he took this so serious. He had a level of like obsession with winning and discipline about it. I remember one

1:06.7

day I came with a gym and he was shooting free throws left-handed. You will never
