Hello everybody, Oliver G here from the Earful Tower and today's episode is all about the

marais. Yes, the M, the letter M is for the maré, but I'm going to try and take a slightly

different approach to it. So first, the basic facts. The marée, if you've never heard of it

before, is the third and fourth Aron Dismonts

of Paris, very central, and a very good mix of old and new. So new coffee shops, new restaurants,

but old buildings, ancient buildings sometimes. And I think there's been about a million and one

guides for your first time to the Marais,

second time, fifth time, whatever.

But I wanted to take a different approach.

I want to think about your final visit to the Marais.

This is playing a little bit on an idea, something I used to ask guests on this podcast a lot

at the end of the episodes. I used to say,

what would you do if it was your last day ever in Paris? And so I took that and ran with it for
