1:01.0	First, there's some mixed news on COVID this week. I'll start with the bad news.
1:05.0	My friends in France and Poland and Germany and Italy tell me of increasing hospital admissions there.
1:10.0	And you know France must be struggling because the Perry-Rube bike race was
1:14.7	postponed. When I look at the very low vaccine numbers in the EU relative to the UK
1:21.3	and to the US I think about why that would be. I won't speculate
1:26.2	so I as not to get myself in trouble. In the US, Michigan, New York, and New Jersey are trending up with COVID cases, which is so weird because many
1:36.4	states are seeing continued and striking declines in cases.
1:40.6	And I would have never thought places like Kentucky in West Virginia would ever lead any
1:45.2	indices in health matters.
1:48.3	But we are doing very well.
