And it's like, wait a minute, this is, this is deja vu.

I've seen this.

I've heard this before.

Well, there are a couple of reasons for that.

One is that throughout the gospel records, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, there is a repetition.

So very often, a different writer is describing the exact same story or setting just from a little

different perspective.

But there are some events that are very similar and yet distinct.

We come to one of those today in Mark chapter number eight.

You will remember that in our last study, were in Mark chapter seven, Jesus opening the ears and the mouth of that deaf and dumb man.

And the Bible says in Mark 8, verse 1, in those days, the multitude being very great and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him and saith unto them,

I have compassion on the multitude, because they've now been with me three days and have nothing to eat.

And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way, for divers of them

came from far. And his disciples answered him, from whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

And he asked them, how many loaves have ye?

And they said seven.

And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground,

and he took the seven loaves and gave thanks and break,
