Today's tip is a reminder that many hands do make light work.

Use the saved time to reward those hands with your presence and they

might be more eager to help the next time. So I'm guessing that many people

listening to this podcast do a big chunk of the

chores at their homes. It can be easy to feel resentful and we talked in a recent

episode about making the rest fair. In some cases it is wise to

trade off, but for many chores doing them together with multiple people can make them go a lot faster than if

only one person does them. For instance cleaning the kitchen after a meal

can be a fast process if one person is

clearing the table. Someone else is packing up leftovers. Someone else is

putting things in the dishwasher and someone else is starting any hand washing that needs to get done.

Taking out the trash is quite a production in my house, as we have a long driveway.
