We are here at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles where the Colorado Avalanche just wrapped up their only practice of the road trip between games 3 and 4. Lots to talk about, including Josh Manson, the potential emergence of Nick Blankenberg in the playoffs. Ross Colton and his performance in game 3, as well as what the avalanche might do if they can't score more goals. I want to give you guys all of the updates in what was said in the locker room. As far as updates on the ice go, Yoel Kivirontah and Zakar Bhartakov and orange jerseys of all jerseys wanted to make sure you guys know they were not no contact

reds so that is a good sign they were still participating in contact drills on the ice but that could

indicate that those are going to be the two scratches ahead of game four ross colton was wearing a regular

jersey for the second line but coach bednar made sure that we knew is the media that there were still

no decisions made yet for game for as much as he has liked what ross colton did in game three he also really liked what yuel

kiviranta did in games one and two so there's still a decision to be made ahead of game four but if

practice is anything to go by today looks like ross colton will also get the start in game four ahead

of yuel kibirontah someone who was not out on the ice today at practice was Josh Manson.

He left Game 3 a little early after taking a hit into the boards.

We got an update during the game that he was being evaluated, was not officially ruled out, but he did not return to game 3.

We have been asking Jared Bednar every single day since the game if there are any updates on

Josh Manson has not been able to give one to us until today. Said that he's still feeling sore after

that hit and he was unlikely to play in game four. That hurts for the Colorado Avalanche. Josh

Manson is a big hitting guy and Jared Bednar is fully aware of that, said that's something that they are going to miss heading into game four.

But with Josh Manson being out, Nick Blankenberg could potentially draw into the lineup.

He played the last 10 games of the season.

Jared Bednar was really happy with what he saw in those 10 games, said he's a reliable defenseman,

really reliable on the defensive side of the puck, but he's also great at transitioning.

And that's what he's looking for from Nick Blankenberg as we head into game four.
