Hey, it's Callie Black here with today's thought. Let's open up to Deuteronomy Chapter 8,

verse 3. Every single fast Sunday, I end my fast by thinking, wow, I really cannot go without food for very long before it starts

affecting my whole body. My complex body needs constant nourishment in order to continue functioning

properly. The Israelites wandering in the wilderness faced a daunting problem.

They couldn't find regular sources of food.

The Lord provided a miracle for them, supplying them with manna every morning.

And in Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 3 we read,

He fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know, that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only,

but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord, doth man live.

This manna that the Israelites enjoyed daily is a perfect representation of Jesus.

We too can find constant nourishment to our souls and our spirits as we read, listen to,

study, or ponder on the words of Christ every single day. It is an absolute miracle that we can so easily

find Jesus's words. But let's make sure we aren't overlooking this miracle, accidentally

starving our spiritual appetites. Feast upon the words of Christ each day.
