On this, Benitez at Ben Gritch, I can find my newsletter at Bengritch.com with me.

As always, is Sean Siegel.

You can find all of his great work at Roadodeviz. Sean, last week we talked about some early thoughts about underdog ADP towards the end. We were kind of getting into running backs a little. That was a long episode. We got into a lot of stuff. We didn't really have time to get into the running backs too much, we were kind of thinking through the dead zone a little and it's a conversation that seemed worth circling back to

0:44.0

and having this week it's an interesting group this year certainly when you look at sites like

0:49.8

underdog where the receivers are being uh you know some would say pushed up some would say properly

0:56.1

valued the running backs are falling relative to what we would come to expect if you look at underdog

1:02.0

the adp right now there are only three running backs in the first round just a couple years ago that

1:06.5

number was more like eight or nine or ten right i mean a lot more running backs going early and even in the

1:13.4

years where we've had receivers pushed up it feels like then the second round might be overloaded with

1:17.8

running backs but this year we only have four running backs in the second round i mean rb eight isn't

1:21.4

coming off the board until the third round the 25th uh highest ADP is where derrick henry at

1:27.4

rb eight is is is aligned.

1:30.7

You get a few in round three, but as we approach the dead zone, as we've referred to it in

1:37.6

the past, this round, middle of round three, back into round three, into round four is

1:42.0

usually where I say, know around four you're

1:44.7

clearly in the dead zone traditionally you might be 20 running backs deep by that point but this year

1:49.9

if you look at underdog ADP right now nausea Harris is the 36 player at the three four turn he's

1:55.3

rb 12 i mean there's only i you know a dozen running backs going off in the first three rounds so it changes

2:02.9

the way we would think about it probably because position only the running backs that are now

2:07.3

falling in the higher higher area of the dead zone in years past would have been top three round picks
