I'm Lacey Evans, filling in for Erica Mandy today. Thanks so much for being

here. You ready? Let's do this. A New York City skyscraper became the scene of a mass shooting this

week. A shooter opened fire in the building on Park Avenue in Manhattan that holds offices

for some of the country's top financial firms and the NFL.

Five people were shot and four were killed, including an off-duty police officer.

Investigators say the gunman also died after shooting himself.

They say he has a documented history with mental health struggles, but no significant criminal

background. For now, his motive is still under investigation.

But police say they believe he acted alone, and there's no longer a threat. Meanwhile, police are

investigating another mass shooting on the other side of the country. They say a gunman opened fire

at one of the biggest casino and hotel complexes in Reno, Nevada. At least three people were killed

at the Grand Sierra Resort. Several others were hurt, some critically. But in this case, police say
