DA Bragg is even more in the news than usual right now between the Mancione case, the Penny case, the Trump-Hush Money conviction, which the judge in that case has now kept alive.

There was last week's indictment of Mayor Adams' top aide, and now over the weekend,

the highest-ranking uniformed officer in the NYPD, Jeffrey Madre, who had the title Chief of

Department, resigned amid allegations that he demanded sexual favors multiple times in the last

year from a lieutenant who works under his command in exchange

for massive amounts of overtime, and there's even more than that. D.A. Bragg, we always

What's your role in that?

So, you know, very, very disturbing allegations, obviously. So our role is the same as it would be for any allegation like that in

in manhattan we have a very good special victims of vision of you know career prosecutors

who focus on this know how to do uh trauma informed investigations and we will conduct an exhaustive investigation into these facts.

And as my office does, we're not going to prejudge anything, but also we'll go over wherever

the facts take us without fear or favor.

According to the New York Post, the new police commissioner, Jessica Tisch,

removed the head of the Internal Affairs Division on Saturday.
