Hey John, I was perusing through my news feed and I read on deadline that Netflix

cancelled the Dark Crystal Age of Resistance.

After one season and just after the series won an award at the Creative Arts Emmys this weekend for

outstanding children's programming.

By the way, that was not a children's program.

I'm thrilled it won the Emmy, but it was not a children's program.

Anyway, this was confirmed by executive producer Lisa Henson but it was not a children's program anyway.

What are your thoughts on the series

Well, here's the thing.

I'm not happy.

No, sir.

I'm not happy at all.

I loved this show. I absolutely loved the Dark Crystal. I thought what they did with the Dark Crystal was nothing short of absolutely phenomenal. I thought they crushed it. I thought they killed it with the

puppets. I thought they integrated C.G. into it when they needed to in the right and appropriate places to mix with the

practical puppeteering and most importantly they gave us a great story. Now I'm

not normally you guys know I'm not a big fan of prequel stories per se
