Well, it was a big weekend on a lot of fronts as we head into the Christmas holiday.

It is Christmas week for everyone, and we trust that you are winding down whatever busy schedule you may have,

easing into the big holiday weekend and getting

ready to enjoy some great family time and such a wonderful tradition.

We've got a lot to talk about on KKHI today and a little bit.

We'll go over all of the magic that happened for the Kansas City Chiefs since the Chiefs

beat the Chargers on Thursday night, so that will be fun. We've got that to cover. But there's

also things going on in the news, and I thought we would start right there to begin this week.

And we will start first with Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia, who over the weekend announced

there is simply nothing he can do to bring himself to vote for Joe Biden's build back better,

or bloat back better, or however you want to describe what would be a $5 trillion

dollar albatross around the American economy. And Joe Manchin says, I've tried, I've tried,

I've tried. We've now learned that last week he took basically his own bill in for about

$1.8 trillion, took it to the White House, met with Biden, and said, I could go with this.

I could do this. He basically rewrote it and said, I could do this.
