Hey, welcome back. As always, I'm super thankful for your support. Today, I feel like there are a dozen things that I want to share with you.

I'm just kind of having one of those fairly uncommon creative weeks where ideas are just flooding out every day and I'm writing them down and trying to figure out what order to put them in.

I have that little extra sense of optimism that there are things we can do that matter, and that they please God, and that God has gifted us the lives to do them. I am, however, going to curb a lot of that

enthusiasm, because I know I only get a few minutes with you today, and so I have chosen just

But here's the thing.

This particular exercise today for me has been the primary energy source for all of this recent creativity.

Because it relates to the way that you think about yourself. Today you will be asked to take

responsibility for those thoughts that play over and over in your head. You will be introduced to a

concept called broken soundtracks and how it is that our minds can tell us repeatedly things that hold us back,

things that we just inherently trust because they are our thoughts. I'm just here to tell you that

your thoughts need more policing than that. Left on their own to play out as they will, they usually will hold you back.

They will tell you that you can't, that you aren't, and that it won't. And if that kind of stuff

is stuck in your head and is not being held accountable, you can go get a journal and write
