Well, hello everybody, and welcome to the Astrology Hub podcast. This is our flagship show, and it's really dedicated to demonstrating how astrology can support you in so many different areas of your life. So we feature up and coming astrologers as well as living legends in the field,

as well as guests like we have today who offer complementary attributes and studies and skills to the field of astrology.

So today I am here and so pleased to be introducing all of you to Matthew Wood, who is a very, very well-known

herbalist who also uses astrology in his practice.

He's partners with Judith Hill, and we're going to go into all of that here in a second.

But what we're going to be talking about today is how you can use medical

astrology to support your health and your body even if you're not a medical practitioner or an

herbalist or you know you have a background in those fields. If you do have a

background in those fields you will also be able to benefit from what we're

talking about here today.

But we want to give you some tools and ideas if you're just like, gosh, I'd love to be able to support

my body.

I know there's something to this astrology thing and I'd love to be able to bring

those two things together. So I'm just going to read a little bit about Matthew before we dive into the interview here.

Matthew has been a professional herbalist since 1981. He's a well-known author, lecturer, and practitioner in the field. He studied astrology in his late teens in order to

gain a language of energy patterns and latter to understand physiology and herbal

uses from an energetic perspective. He considers himself a hobbyist astrologer. He's worked with

Judith Hill on the astrological rulerships of plants for the past five years. He currently lives

in Wisconsin, elsewhere in the winter, if he can help it.

Matthew has a Masters of Science from the Scottish School of Urbanism, accredited by the University of Wales.

He is the author of eight books on Herbalism, including The Book of Urban herbal wisdom and the forthcoming holistic medicine
