In our bonus episode a couple of days ago, I raved about Steve Ronella's book,

Outdoor Kids in an Inside World, which as we are a little bit more inside for the holidays,

is a great time to read and set up some plans for 2822.

We're heading to the beach, some slightly warmer weather,

and we're going to spend a lot of time outdoors doing stuff,

walking, fishing, playing, surfing, etc.

But anyways, if you haven't read the book, you should,

In today's episode, I'm going to grab some thoughts from my interview with Steve,

which I think you'll really like, talking about not just the book,

but how to be a pragmatic parent and also take chances, bad habits we inherit from our parents and the importance

of questioning those habits and the gravity that pulls kids inside and how to get them inside.
