It's a wonderful thing to have parents who can help out with your children when you need

a babysitter for a date night or a getaway.

But it's truly special when grandparents are believers in Christ and they want to spend time

with the kids and they want to disciple their grandchildren.

He's a licensed clinical social worker and heads up our parenting department

And today we're going to hear a conversation to begin with that Jim Daly and I had with

Michelle Howe, who described how grandparents can play a really powerful role in kids' lives,

be here. Let's get into it. How do you make the distinction between grand parenting and grand parenting?

There is a huge distinction and the grand parenting differs between being a mere grandparent.

As somebody who dips into your grandchild's life off and on,

they show up for the occasion, a little league game

holidays so when it suits that when it suits them that's a grandparent but to be a
