and the question, what should I personally do

in my position?

They're actually very different questions

and I think, I only raise it

because I think that when people sometimes write into me

or whatever to say, like, should I,

what should I do about the country,

about the problems of the world?

Like, I suspect that they're asking that question

from the perspective of like imagining themselves

to be Ron DeSantis or needing to do something

on the level of a Ron DeSantis.

When, in fact, that's not the row they've been given to Ho

and the deeper, maybe, harder, more intangible

and also much longer term task.

But also, in some sense, the more fundamental

and more urgent task that James outlines

of spiritual renovation, renewal,

that falls to people who, when they contemplate
