Oh, it's Friday, thank God. I think we could all use a weekend. Me, Brett here,

Brett Erlich's in the studio, we coast in the show with me.

More than likely the vast majority of you watching at home, the country needs to heal.

Not just after the week of news that we've had, but also the primaries, which were a little bit

tough. The New York primaries that we covered yesterday. Some high profile losses, very good candidates,

including Cynthia Nixon, as well as candidates that we had interviewed in the past few months

on this show, as a for Teach Out and Jamani Williams as well. There were a number of awesome wins too.

Don't get me wrong, but those losses do hurt. And we are now past the primaries season,

the very least. And it seems knock on a acrylic table that the general election in less than two

months will be good, but we won't know that for a while and a lot can happen in the meantime,

which I'm sure you're well aware of if you've been living in America or listening to this program.

But anyway, Brett Erlich is here, very excited to have you here, Brett.

I'm so excited to be here. I'm also excited about the Happy Half Hour, which will be airing today

on the Young Turks YouTube TV channel. We had an amazing guest, M Shultz, came on to talk about

all the good news. And we broke out milkshakes because you don't have to drink to have a good time,
