We're going to be talking lots about Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, amongst other subjects for you.

We're going to start at Old Trafford, where that saga of Manchester United's absent or invisible director of football

has once again become an issue. It's the transfer windows understanding that Manchester

United have rebegun the process of looking for a suitable candidate or candidate for the role to be director of football at Manchester United.

This follows three at least failed attempts to recruit into that particular position in the past.

At the moment, we know that Ed Woodward, the Executive Vice Chairman and Matt Judge,

whose head of corporate development are the ones who make most, if not all, of recommendations

and decisions regarding the final signing of players based on scouting reports and data analysis.
