We were at Old Trafford for Saturday night football where Manchester United were up against Brighton.

Here's how we saw things when the final whistle blew. It's three wins on the truck for Manchester United.

Ruben Amarim a relieved man because they certainly did not do it the easy way.

At one stage the outcome wasn't in doubt when they were 3-0

up in this game. Mattes Cunya having scored his first goal for the club and Brian

and Burmo striking twice after Casimiro had hit a deflected second for Manchester United.

But that second goal for Umberembo finally put the issue beyond doubt after Brighton had given United

a real scare.

It was the former United player Danny Welbeck who started it off with a wonderfully placed free kick

and then a substitute Costoulas who in the second minute of injury time scored with a header from the corner and it looked as though Fabian Herzlis Brighton might get something out of this game after all but in the end Gary and Burmo has the final say yeah Burma and Coonier a really good day for them I mean the narrative going into this game was that Manchester United could take a step back after what happened at Anfield last week and the win today was absolutely crucial

I think maybe it's at Ruben Hamrim's best and most important week in the job I think it gives him a bit of time. I'm not saying he's off the hook, but Manchester

United up there towards the top of the league and it certainly takes a lot of pressure off

him and you can see the relief amongst the players. Well, it's a win that continues the recent

momentum. Manchester United for Brighton 2. Rob Gary, thank you very much. Jamie Rednapp, it is indeed three steps forward.

Absolutely. What a result. It would have been a travesty if they won that game.

They made it difficult for themselves at the end and then Brian and Belmont just calmed everything down.

Huge win for the club. Three brilliant wins.

Obviously last week, it was a really pivotal moment for the manager.

And again today, I thought they were calm, they were controlled up until that last little bit of the game.

But they've had a lot of stick for their recruitment in the past, but right now they're getting in spot up.

They really are, this guy's a sensation. Gary Neville knows better than who takes the plate from A night and the pressure that that can sometimes give you. But these two, Brian and Burmo and Cunia, are so calm, they're loving it. You can see they're embracing it, they're enjoying it, and they look like real match, as you might as well.
