Funny to have a defeat that doesn't feel like it prompts any sort of crisis. I mean, United actually played all right. It deserved a bit more out of the game, really, didn't they? It was certainly winnable. Look, Astonville are the former team, one of the former teams in the Premier League.

They're right on the cost of a title race. United were without, let's call them, three, four of their best starters, maybe more than that, lost their captain at half-time, and still were two wonky finishes away from getting at least a point.

So not too disappointing Ruben Amar and his postmatch said

that he believed May Unite was a better team and I could see the argument there.

Yeah, Critch posted Andy, a defeat that doesn't feel like it will spark a referendum

on the manager, the ownership, the transfer business or the academy.

Weird.

I agree with him.

I thought United played well.
