Summary

The dust is settling on another Premier League campaign and, as the summer solstice looms on the horizon, it's time for our annual end of season awards.

It's a much happier, therefore considerably less tongue-in-cheek, set of awards than this time last year as we decide the player of the year (who's not the marvellous captain bruno) and the best first-season United player.

We also choose our favourite from a pretty healthy selection of United goals as well as the best moment not involving a goal. There are no prizes for picking out our favourite podcast guest, but plenty of smackdown for our (very) bad takes revisited.

1:25.5

That's unusual.

1:26.3

That's unusual, and it's unusual at the same time for United, just feel very serene. Like, as well as it being nice and pleasant, it's also felt calm in a way that I haven't, the cover in the club hasn't really felt like that since maybe 10 Harg's first season, the summer going into that that and the bit of turmoil that there was that

1:44.5

summer it's felt very different and I think that's it's down to one man it's down to Michael

Oh no, we filled episodes.

2:02.6

Don't worry about that. We filled episodes, yeah. Yeah, we don't know right with that. We're about to fill another one. I can see someone nodding out the corner of my eye, so I'm guessing you agree with that sentiment, Andy. I do. Loads of encouraging signs from last season. I think Manchester United overachieved. European football was the target
