It's always fascinating to think about how humans can survive in different conditions and

situations. There have been several instances that have tested the limits of the human body

whether intentionally done or not. For years we've heard stories of survivors that

managed to escape near death experiences even when they seemed almost impossible.

And the first story that we have for you today is an example of just that.

On July 17, 2022, a resident of Sarasota, Florida got lost in the woods near Lake Manatee

Fish Camp. 47-year-old Eric Murda was walking around the area trying to find his way out when he

came across the lake. Instead of doing the safer option which would be to walk around it,

he decided to swim across it. But whatever it didn't take into consideration was the fact that

something else was lurking in that water. He was already in the lake when he noticed a silent

predator and alligator on his right hand side. The alligator wasted no time and immediately snagged

Eric's right forearm. He then tried to fight back or at least attempt to protect himself.

He tried to free his arm but it proved to be unsuccessful. The gator then dragged Eric

under one of three times before performing the death roll that damaging maneuver
