This is Steve from the Baked and Awake podcast,

and I have been absolutely enthralled with the Eastern Borders perspective,

humor, and most of all, the depth of its host's understanding of not only the history of the USSR,

but of the wider context, of its relationships with, an impact upon the rest of the world.

I also particularly enjoy learning about the Cold War era from a person who was on the opposite side of the pressure cooker of dread that was the reality for most Americans and Europeans during the decades between the end of the Second World War and the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.
