Manchester City have claimed the WSL Trophy for the first time in a decade,

and in doing so, have brought down the mighty Blues' six-year title-winning streak.

It comes to an end. And then it's the FA Cup final,

not a bad week for the Sky Blues. They will be facing Brighton in the final who pulled off

an amazing comeback against Liverpool to give themselves a chance of silverware for the first time

in their history. We take a look at that mad, mad, mad game. Finally, with the league already

wrapped up, we look ahead to the

narrative still swirling around the final weekend of the WSL, including Beth Meade's

confirmed exit.

Rach, it was a really lovely way to kind of throw to the FA Cup this weekend.

But before we get stuck into all the drama and obviously Man City and this title that we need to talk about that we've been kind of talking about for the last few weeks now, what are your moments of the weekend?

Well, we're going to talk a bit more in depth about it later. But for me, it was when the, when the

substitution board went up at the 89th minute for Brighton Liverpool and Nordam was brought on

for Fran Kirby. And I just thought, interesting, taking Fran off. I thought, Fran actually lasted,

you know, almost 90 minutes, which... Smashing it as well. Yeah. And but you, you know, with Fran kind of managing injuries and stuff like that, I was, I didn't expect you to go that long. And then, you know, you're looking at maybe it's going into injury time. So I just thought, oh, that's an interesting substitution. What a substitution she turned out to be. iconic. And then we can get into the goal celebrations, the wholesomeness of that. but I just for me that was such a kind of pivotal moment for Brightman that boy went up

and she was coming on

I was like, wow, you look back at where a game changes and that was it. I think it was probably quite a few like sort of, um, faces sort of around, around the stadium. Like, mm, it's, you know, right now. Interesting. Yeah, different. Rated. Okay, cool. See where it's going. Well, who's eating their cake now, eh?

Brighton, cool. See where it's going. Well, who's eating their cake now, eh? Brighton. Yeah. Well. Moment of the weekend for me. We were obviously at the women's football awards. It was a lovely other occasion. Every single year, get to celebrate the biggest and brightest and not even just on the pitch, but all the off the pitch stuff as well.

And I've got to give a massive shout out. Fowdies picked up an award, the tongue-tide picked up

an award after football studios who've done some amazing graphic work, Buddy Shore and also

the Corinthians. I had such crack with them afterwards because I was working it and I was
