Our case this week, a father accused of attempting to poison his 10 year old daughter

while out on bail for allegedly poisoning to death his wife, the girl's

mother, the weapon of choice say authorities, eye drops. Police say the man benefited

from a life insurance payout worth a quarter of a million dollars after his wife's death,

but authorities say he will not be able to touch a dime of it to defend himself

from these latest charges.

Prosecutors say he's also facing charges of setting a medical helicopter on fire while in flight and charges of staging his own

kidnapping.
