This beautiful girl does not want to sleep. A garden calls her with flowers to keep. This beautiful boy does not want to stop.

His eyes won't close. They keep opening. Pop. Silver stars, Ivory Moon, sing them a song with a sleepy tune.

Lullaby. I have a little girl, pretty and small. Her mind is in a whirl, so I can't sleep at all.

How I long to have her sleep and close her lovely eyes to rest at last in slumber deep, but she plays all the time. Sweet dreams. Sweet dreams, little one, sweet dreams, my child, the little cradle
