She's the Associate Dean for Medical Education at the University of Houston.

North Carolina followed by a general surgery residency at the University of

California Davis and a vascular fellowship at Emory.

After that, she completed her Masters of Public Health in 2005 and as if that weren't enough, she went on to law school and got her a lot degree.
