Man. That's a throw because he, you know, he's not really set, doesn't have the base under him.

And he fires that ball. Chris, what would you make of him overall?

Impressive, really is. He's a guy that every time I see him, I like him more and more. I really do. Because, again, I think he's a natural thrower. I like his throwing motion and how he throws the football better than I like Justin Fields or Trey Lance last year. I do. I think the guy, you know, what he's shown to me post-college is the fact that some of the

questions I had about some of the mechanics or the throwing motion itself have already kind of been cleaned up to make me go, oh, okay, all right. He's, it's not only coachable, but, you know, it is a natural throwing motion to where he can work out kind of the kinks. He's got a big time arm like we talked about

the other day. The other thing you look at a Mike, I mean, his, you know me, legs and butt. I mean, what a pair of legs and butt for a quarterback. That's where the running is real. I mean, big square shoulders, strong back. I know everybody thinks the guy with the big pecks and the big biceps in the weight room is a strong guy. No, the guy with the big butt and big legs and big back,

he's the guy you don't want to fight in the weight room. That's the guy. Mike, tell me if I'm crazy. You know, again, you know, he's got a real effect of running the ball because I think he's going to be able to quarterback design runs, follow guys, do that.

But I really think he's going to be a great scrambler and set up and launch balls like we saw there.

He reminds me the more I watch him a little bit of Steve McNair more and more.

It's funny.

It's because I was thinking to him too because he was classic country strong,

big legs and butt, big bodied, never lifted a weight. Right. Right. Square shoulders.

Move away from pressure. No doubt. That's good. That's good. Yep. Break tackles. I mean,

he breaks a ton of arm tackles. That's really where I look at him. And again, I love this kid's ceiling, what I should say.

I know I made Corral 1, Pickett 2, Willis 3, but I danced around with the idea of maybe making Willis 2.

Willis is not as good as Pickett right now. There's just a few things in Willis's game that I'd like to see, you know,

like I talked about the other day. There's not a lot of plays of reading the defenses. There's not a lot of plays of going through progressions. You know, the offense itself made it just, hey, here's a go route. Oh, just throw the slant route here. Oh, just throw to this guy running the five-yard out route. That's like all there was to it. There was not a lot of system quarterback

or why I didn't do that. But I think his overall talent is something you can be excited for and

certainly think he's a first-round talent. And I don't know, the more you look at it, I just go

Seattle, Pittsburgh, it just seems like the perfect places for a guy like Malik Willis. Or Carolina, which is desperate for a franchise quarterback, and the only way they're going to get one is to draft one. They sit at six. You know, people say all these quarterbacks aren't good enough to be drafted high. The problem is quarterbacks get overdrafted. Yes. If you're desperate for a franchise quarterback, it's the only place you're going to get one involuntarily.
