Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a big girl named Malia, who wanted nothing more than her own tree house.

Unfortunately, although there were many lovely things in her yard, there were no trees capable of holding a treehouse.

One day, at a farmer's market, a mysterious old woman had sold her an odd-looking
