This week on the Colin and Samir podcast, we're talking about creators who make their own

markets. More specifically, we're reacting to the fact that Logan Paul did a series on

Pokemon. He bought a bunch of Pokemon cards, $200,000 worth of Pokemon cards to be exact,

and hosted a live stream where individuals could purchase the packs and he

unboxed them on air. There were over 300,000 people watching and he raised over $130,000 for charity.

Now, picking a niche like Pokemon for Logan Paul might feel like it doesn't really make sense,

but Colin and I are going to talk about it and talk about why picking a community like that really adds a lot of value to you as a YouTube creator. Now, we're also going to talk about

Mr. Beast and the Creator Games too, a creator trivia tournament that he hosted over the weekend

that had over 1.1 million people watching at the same time and broke viewership records on YouTube.

That video is now sitting at 17 million views on YouTube and just kind of adds to the

concept that creators are starting to innovate and create their own markets.
