Welcome to episode number 1,187 of The Potters cast,

and we are quickly chasing down Christmas. I mean, globally we are,

right? Have you got all your preparations complete for those of you who are celebrating, whether

it's a religious or whether it's just family and social and good times like that, I know I got

things I got to still do. I still have some prep that is needed. So it's down to the crunch time,

right? Down to the crunch time. When I was young, I used to go Christmas shopping on Christmas

Eve. That was my day. I would get my money together,

my latest paycheck, and I'd jump in the car, drive out to the, out to the Carlsbad Mall in

Southern California, just there in the Tri-Cities. It's in North Carlsbad, just south of Oceanside, and just west of Vista.

And I would go shopping there and do all of my buying on Christmas Eve. And I'd come home then,

and we'd have Christmas Eve services. We'd come home and have Christmas Eve dinner.

And then I'd hold up in my bedroom, and I would spend like the next three hours wrapping gifts and having a good time. Yes, it was so much fun. It was so much fun. And I would do that funky stuff too. Like I would try to get like for my brother, I would I would get a, I'd have a small size present, but I would get a

giant box and wrap it in a giant box. Then when he opens it up, there's just like this

little gift in there. And my brother-in-law one time, I would, I was started to wrap, I treated

like one of those Russian dolls where I wrapped a gift,

then I put it inside another box, and I wrapped it again, then I put inside another box,

wrapped it again, put it inside another box like that until I had, you know,
