Philippians 1.10.

You know, Paul prayed for the different churches, the Philippians Church, the Colossians

Church, the Church at Ephesus, and some of the prayers that Paul prayed are recorded

in each of these letters.

And they're very interesting prayers when you really look at them.

He didn't pray like we do.

Oh, God, take away all my problems.

Actually, you really can't find one place where Jesus, our Paul,

prayed for anybody's problem to disappear.

Hmm. See, you ain't liking that either.

Don't make this hard. This is only one session. We got three more to go.

What do you mean? They didn't pray the problems go away. No, Paul prayed that they would endure whatever would come with good temper.

And that they would continue in faith and continue in love and continue abiding in him.
