Welcome to Emergence Magazine's podcast. I'm Emanuel Vaughn Lee, host of this show,

an executive editor of Emergence Magazine, located on the unseated ancestral lands of the

Coast Miwok people in present-day Marin County. Each week, we feature interviews, stories, poetry, and author-narrated essays,

exploring the threads connecting ecology, culture, and spirituality.

At our Shifting Landscapes Exhibition, held in London last December, we hosted a series of live talks and conversations,

exploring the myriad ways were entangled with our changing Earth.

In this conversation, I was joined by acclaimed marshmallow laser feast director,

Erson Hen Erson, one of the artists behind the exhibition's large-scale audio and video installation,

breathing with the forest, which immersed visitors in an experience of exchanging breath

with the forest in the Colombian Amazon.

Erson shares the imagination involved in making visible the threads that bind the living world together in relationship,

and talks about the power of experiential art to broaden our perception, inviting us into the wonder of visualizing in an intimate way what it's like to be part of the forest. Just. Nice to see everyone here. My name is Emmanuel Vaughn Lee. I am the executive editor of Emergence

morning to be joined by creative director of Marshmoe Laser Feast, Erson Hand Erson, who is going to be

Erson is a multidisciplinary artist and the creative director of marshmallow laser feast, the experiential art collective that we have partnered with to create the installation

that is just across the hall in this exhibition.

Erson and MLF's work have been presented at Sundance Film Festival,

Tribeca Film Festival, South by Southwest Film Festival,

and exhibited an esteemed institutions in galleries worldwide,

including ACMI, the Barbican, Saatchi Gallery, FI Center, DBB, Seoul, Next
