I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson here on the Maroon Friday edition of the yard,

much later than I wanted to be. I'm not going to lie to you.

The good news is we have Internet service here at the house, finally, after a week.

I want to thank the technician from AT&T.

When he showed up, he said, I'm not leaving until I have you hooked up again.

And I appreciate the dedication.

I do. There are very few people these days that work in the service industry that have that level of dedication. Had somebody come in earlier this week and like, oh, you know,

it's not his fault. He goes, I've done everything that I can do. It's got to be fixed on the other end.

And so this new guy comes in and says, hey, I think I know what to do.

So we get those fine folks on the phone.

This is here's what we're doing. And it works.

It's incredible, too. We lived our whole lives up until, I guess, the early 90s without the Internet.

Now we can't live without it.

Obviously in a job like mine that it's so dependent on the internet, I guess all jobs in many respects are now these days,

been living like a savage last week, haven't used my hotspot, first world problems all the way.

So I'm very grateful the technician that came the day, got us going.

It has been a very, very stressful week, as I shared on Gene's page,

Mama told me there'll be days like this, but she didn't say there'd be this many.

Speaking of Mama's raising you right, how about our buddy Jeff Simmons, right?
