God had promised to raise up after Elijah a greater prophet, a greater prophet with twice the power that Elijah had and that was

Elisha. Elisha was the greater profit but Elisha really was there to give us a

foreshadowing of the greatest of all prophets, the greatest one,

Jesus. All Old Testament prophets do that, Elisha, no exception. And I explain to you that

Elisha also embodies a promise that's given to you and me.
