Where are the people in the City of Angels to talk trash early this morning in the wake of the Laker season collapsing?

The Lakers in the last month or so have lost to the Knicks. They've lost to the Caves and they've lost to the Atlanta Hawks aka the most irrelevant sports franchise in pro sports in the history of this country.

I am sorry to Atlanta Hawks fans for calling you out but even you guys know that that is 100% true.

The Lakers are now under 500. This is the latest LeBron has been under 500 since his rookie year.

This is the worst 4 and 5 game stretch in the history of his career as a basketball player and as a result, the Lakers are now substantially out of the 7 seed in the playoffs.

Why do you talk about the 7 seed? I don't think the Lakers goal is to become the 8 seed even though they're 2.5 games out of the number 8 spot.

It's possible they're going to catch the Sacramento Kings or the Clippers or whoever ends up in the 8 spot.

But if you catch them and end up in the 8 spot, you're going to get run by the Golden State Warriors and lose that series in 4 or 5 games.

So what you have to aspire to, I believe if you are the Lakers is, you have to aspire to get to the 7 seed.
