This is the movement of the Holy Family, leading people to Jesus through friendship, good conversation and the Rosary. So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am so blessed this evening to be with soon to be Mr and Mrs Brian and Susan Day for I am at I'm at their wedding. It is right

before their wedding and they've asked to gather their family and friends and to pray the Rotary

right before they'll be married and I told them that tomorrow which is today for you listening, there will be more than 15,000 people

praying for them. So right now, you are all praying for Susan and Brian and their families. What a great way to start

their life together. So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for, all of those on our hearts.

Now through faith and baptism Jesus really comes to live in the

souls of each one of us and the purpose of life is to be transformed in union with Jesus

so that we become more and more like him. Well how in the world is this going to happen?

I'm not very good at living in imitation of Jesus.

Well, God is not expecting us to do it alone. He has given us great help. First, Jesus wants to do it for us, to live through

us, if we would just learn how to cooperate and let him, second, Jesus gave us his mother

married to be our mother to help us. At the cross Jesus saw the disciple whom he loved standing

near. Now this disciple remains unnamed because we are the disciple Jesus love. And then Jesus said,

behold, this is your mother. And since Jesus lives in us and Mary is his mother, then she becomes our spiritual mother.

And third, since Jesus continues to live in us, St Joseph, the Father of Jesus continues to care for us.

See Jesus was part of the Holy Family. Now that he lives up to us, we are part of the Holy Family.

With Mary as our mother, Joseph is our guardian, protector and provider, and we are to live in a friendship with all three

as they help us to become more and more like Christ.

Our Father, who are to heaven, hallow and be your name,

thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
