Summary

From blazing a joint at his audition, to smoking Austin, TX completely out of marijuana during the shoot, Dazed and 'Confused star Jason London tells Abdullah and Bean that the greatest weed moments on set all happened between takes, and behind the scenes. So journey with us back to the magical summer of 1993, when a cast and crew of talented unknowns that included Matthew McConaughy, Ben Affleck, Renee Zellweger, Anthony Rapp, Mila Jovovich, Parker Posey and writer/director Richard Linklater all adopted a method-acting approach to portraying 1970s stoners, with plenty of high-jinx and high times ensuing on the way to making one of the most iconic stoner films of all time.. 0:11.7	interview with the leading man from dazed and confused Jason London himself. And he's going to
0:19.4	take us through the history of this fantastic movie,
0:22.8	which was an early one to depict stoners as just a bunch of regular kids getting wild and
0:28.9	doing their thing on the last day of school. Isn't that right, Bean? Yeah, it is one of my
0:33.5	favorite movies. It is one of the great filmed hangouts of all time. And it gives me a feeling
0:41.1	we just, you know, just rewatching it to get ready for this interview of school is out for the
0:48.2	summer and that scene where they're just pouring out of the school and rushing to get high.
0:54.8	And the feeling of release, I think, is something that we're all kind of,
0:59.4	I'm quite a ways from my last day of school.
1:03.5	But I have that feeling for the first time in a long time.
1:08.4	Like, the summer is starting.
1:09.9	It's full of possibilities. And it's time to enjoy life and get high again.
1:15.0	Yeah, absolutely.
1:16.5	I think after being cooped up for a year and a half, we're all feeling that vibe.
